2023 ISACA Singapore Cyber Leadership Awards

Cyber security, governance, risk and compliance teams play a vital role in Singapore to ensure that organisations meet and exceed regulatory requirements, actively manage risks and achieve digital trust in today’s complex working environment.

Now in its second consecutive year, ISACA Singapore formalised the ISACA Singapore Cyber Leadership Awards to recognise exceptional individuals and companies with excellent performance and influence in the areas of cyber security, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance. These award recipients are shining examples for Singapore and the industry as we all strive towards resilience by design.

The award recipients will be officially announced during ISACA Singapore’s international conference GTACS 2023 in Singapore on 24 Aug 2023.

Nominations

We invite nominations for the various award categories for the ISACA Singapore Cyber Leadership Awards. All award nominees will be assessed by the ISACA Singapore Past Presidents Council who are industry leaders in Singapore.

 

All nominees should be a ISACA Singapore Chapter member.

  • Individual nominations are open to Singaporean, Permanent Resident of Singapore, employment pass holders in Singapore

  • Organisation nominations are open to Singapore based companies (with a registered office address in Singapore).

  • Information provided in the nomination form is strictly confidential and will only be used by ISACA Singapore and the judging panel for the awards assessment.

  • We only request that you provide the nominee business contact (email and mobile) so that the organisation committee can reach out to the nominees should the nominee is shortlisted.

  • Nomination closes on 14 June 2023 at 6pm [Deadline extended].

ISACA Singapore Cyber Leadership award categories

There are three different categories of the awards for 2023.  

AWARDS FOR THE TOP IT GOVERNANCE, RISK, AND COMPLIANCE LEADERS IN SINGAPORE

Top IT Governance, risk and compliance professionals include:

  • Singapore IT Audit Leader

    • Recognise an individual for their leadership and significant contribution to advancing and advocating the audit professionals through their contribution and involvement in capability development and training, mentoring and nurturing the youths into the professions or through the use of technology and best practices to enhance the work of the auditors.

    • ISACA Singapore Chapter member with active participation in ISACA activities.

  • Singapore IT Governance Leader

    • Recognise an individual who demonstrated outstanding leadership and introduced best corporate governance practices within and beyond their organisation.

    • Made a positive impact and gone beyond his/her normal duties to encourage and support talent development in governance areas.

    • ISACA Singapore Chapter member with active participation in ISACA activities.

  • Singapore IT Risk Leader

    • Recognise an individual who demonstrated outstanding leadership and introduced best corporate risk management practices within and beyond their organisation.

    • Who has made a positive impact and gone beyond his/her normal duties to encourage and support talent development in risk management.

    • ISACA Singapore Chapter member with active participation in ISACA activities.

AWARDS FOR THE TOP INFOSEC LEADERS IN SINGAPORE

  • Singapore Infosec Leader

    • Recognise an individual who has dedicated their time and effort to promote best practices and improve information security practices.

    • Thought leader that demonstrated outstanding and contributory leadership and create positive impact to the IT Security industry.

    • ISACA Singapore Chapter member with active participation in ISACA activities.

AWARDS FOR THE TOP YOUNG CYBER AND YOUTH LEADERS IN SINGAPORE

Top young cyber professionals and youth include:

  • Singapore Cyber Security Young Leader

    • Recognise an individual with less than 5 years of working experience (between 21-35 years old) with outstanding contributions in the area of cyber security either in school, industry and / or professional associations.

    • Recognised by peers as a person who is passionate and someone who contributed significantly to grow the knowledge and practice of cyber security amongst his/her peers.

  • Singapore Youth Leader

    • Recognise an individual who has not yet joined the work force with outstanding contributions in the area of cyber security either in school, industry and / or professional associations.

    • Recognised by peers as a person who is passionate and someone who contributed significantly to grow the knowledge and practice of cyber security amongst his/her peers.

ORGANISATION AWARDS

  • Innovative Cyber Security Program

    • Recognise outstanding and innovative products/programs designed to improve cyber security practices including the area of capability development.

    • Products / programs that demonstrated benefits to clients/organisation/ industry.

  • Best Employer for Lifelong Cyber Learning

    • Recognise and honour employers that champion lifelong cyber learning and capability development at the workplace.

    • Committed to give employees opportunities to continuously upskill or reskills themselves in their career.
