Synopsis

Cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance teams play a vital role in Singapore’s digital transformation efforts. They actively manage risks and achieve digital trust in today’s complex work environment.

In its fifth year, the 2026 ISACA Singapore Leadership Awards are dedicated to honoring outstanding individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional performance and influence in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, audit and compliance.

These distinguished award recipients exemplify the pinnacle of achievement for Singapore and the wider industry, leading the charge towards a resilient and secure digital future. The award recipients will be officially announced during ISACA Singapore GTACS 2026 conference.

Timeline

Nomination ends: 31 May 2026

Shortlisting and screening: 1 to 5 June 2026

Judging (including interview sessions): 15 to 30 June 2026

Award presentation ceremony: GTACS conference in Singapore | 16 July 2026

This completed form should be sent to government.outreach@isaca.org.sg together with the following:

1. Nomination Form

2. Latest CV/resume including relevant supporting documents for achievements, certification etc.

Individual Award Categories

Organization Categories

Objective: To recognize an individual for their leadership and substantial contribution to the advancement and advocacy of audit professionals.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Involvement in capability development and training.
- Mentoring and nurturing young professionals into the audit profession.
- Utilization of technology and best practices to enhance auditor work efficiency.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
- Must demonstrate active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To honor an individual who has shown exceptional leadership in IT governance and has implemented best corporate governance practices within and beyond their organization.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership in the introduction and implementation of best corporate governance practices.
- Made significant positive impacts that exceed normal job duties, especially in encouraging and supporting talent development in governance areas.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
- Must demonstrate active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To acknowledge an individual who has significantly contributed to promoting best practices and enhancing cybersecurity practices..

Criteria for Recognition:
1. Dedicated time and effort to promote best practices in cybersecurity.
2. Demonstrated thought leadership, outstanding contribution, and leadership in the cybersecurity industry, creating a positive impact.
Eligibility:
1. Must be a current member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
2. Must show active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To recognize and honor employers that actively promote lifelong cyber learning and capability development within their organization.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an environment of continuous learning and development in cybersecurity.
- Provides employees with ample opportunities to upskill or reskill throughout their careers.
Eligibility:
- Employers who have implemented effective lifelong learning programs or practices in cybersecurity for their employees.

As AI adoption deepens across critical business functions, public services and our daily lives, the need to strengthen the AI assurance ecosystem becomes increasingly critical. Organizations today face complex questions around transparency, fairness, accountability, safety, and responsible innovation. Effective AI governance ensures that AI systems are not only powerful and efficient, but also ethical, trustworthy, and aligned with human values.

Objective: To honour an organization that has significantly contributed in shaping and driving responsible AI practices

Criteria for Recognition:
- Champion responsible, ethical, and transparent use of AI
- Drive the creation and implementation of strong governance frameworks
- Guide teams and leaders in navigating emerging risks and regulatory expectations
- Enable safe innovation and sustainable value creation
Eligibility:
- Employers who have implemented effective lifelong learning programs or practices in cybersecurity for their employees.

Young Professionals & Youth Categories

Objective: To honor a young professional with less than 8 years of working experience who has made outstanding contributions to IT governance, risk, compliance, audit and cybersecurity, whether it relates to academics, industry, or professional associations.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated exceptional contributions in the areas of IT governance, risk, compliance, audit and cybersecurity.
- Recognized by peers as passionate and significantly contributed to expanding the knowledge and practice of these competencies among peers.
Eligibility:
- Below 35 years.
- Less than 8 years of working experience in the field.

Objective: To acknowledge an individual who has not entered the workforce but made significant contributions to IT governance, risk, compliance, audit and cybersecurity, through academic efforts, industry involvement, or participation in professional associations.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Made outstanding contributions to the field of IT governance, risk, compliance, audit and cybersecurity, outside of a traditional employment setting.
- Recognized by peers for their passion for these competencies and for significantly enhancing the knowledge and practice of cybersecurity among their peers.
Eligibility:
- Individual who has not yet joined the workforce but demonstrates a strong commitment and contribution to cybersecurity.
