Now celebrating its third consecutive year, the ISACA Singapore Cyber Leadership Awards are dedicated to honoring outstanding individuals and companies that have demonstrated exceptional performance and influence in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

These distinguished award recipients exemplify the pinnacle of achievement for Singapore and the wider industry, leading the charge towards a resilient and secure digital future.

The award recipients will be officially announced during ISACA Singapore GTACS 2024 conference.

Individual Nominations: Open exclusively to members of the ISACA Singapore Chapter. This ensures that the awards recognize the contributions of our dedicated community members.
Organization Nominations: Eligibility extends to companies based in Singapore, with a mandatory requirement that the nominated organization has at least one active ISACA Singapore Chapter member. This criterion highlights the connection between the nominee and the ISACA community, ensuring that the organization is aligned with ISACA's values and objectives.

Timeline

Nomination ends: 30 April 2024 (6pm SGT)

Shortlisting and screening: May 2024

Judging (including 10 interview session): May - June 2024

Award presentation ceremony: GTACS conference in Singapore | 16 July 2024

Individual Award Categories

Organization Categories

Objective: To recognize an individual for their leadership and substantial contribution to the advancement and advocacy of audit professionals.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Involvement in capability development and training.
- Mentoring and nurturing young professionals into the audit profession.
- Utilization of technology and best practices to enhance auditor work efficiency.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
- Must demonstrate active participation in ISACA activitie

Objective: To honor an individual who has shown exceptional leadership in IT governance and has implemented best corporate governance practices within and beyond their organization.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership in the introduction and implementation of best corporate governance practices.
- Made significant positive impacts that exceed normal job duties, especially in encouraging and supporting talent development in governance areas.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
- Must demonstrate active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To recognize an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and introduced superior corporate risk management practices both within and beyond their organization.

Criteria for Recognition:
1. Demonstrated leadership in the adoption and implementation of best practices in corporate risk management.
2. Made significant positive impacts beyond normal job responsibilities, particularly in encouraging and supporting talent development in risk management.
Eligibility:
1. Must be a current member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
2. Must show active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To acknowledge an individual who has significantly contributed to promoting best practices and enhancing information security practices.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Dedicated time and effort to promote best practices in information security.
- Demonstrated thought leadership, outstanding contribution, and leadership in the IT security industry, creating a positive impact.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ISACA Singapore Chapter.
- Must demonstrate active participation in ISACA activities.

Objective: To celebrate outstanding and innovative products or programs designed to enhance cybersecurity practices, with a special focus on capability development.

Criteria for Recognition:
- The product or program has introduced innovative approaches to improving cybersecurity practices.
- Demonstrated tangible benefits to clients, organizations, or the industry at large.
Eligibility:
- Open to creators of products or programs that have made a significant impact on cybersecurity practices and capability development.

Objective: To recognize and honor employers that actively promote lifelong cyber learning and capability development within their organization.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an environment of continuous learning and development in cybersecurity.
- Provides employees with ample opportunities to upskill or reskill throughout their careers.
Eligibility:
- Employers who have implemented effective lifelong learning programs or practices in cybersecurity for their employees.

Young Professionals & Youth Categories

Objective: To honor a young professional with less than 5 years of working experience who has made outstanding contributions to cybersecurity, whether in academic settings, the industry, or professional associations.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Demonstrated exceptional contributions in the area of cybersecurity.
- Recognized by peers as passionate about cybersecurity and significantly contributed to expanding the knowledge and practice of cybersecurity among peers.
Eligibility:
- Below 35 years.
- Less than 5 years of working experience in the field.

Objective: To acknowledge an individual who has not yet entered the workforce but has made significant contributions to cybersecurity through academic efforts, industry involvement, or participation in professional associations.

Criteria for Recognition:
- Made outstanding contributions to the field of cybersecurity outside of a traditional employment setting.
- Recognized by peers for their passion for cybersecurity and for significantly enhancing the knowledge and practice of cybersecurity among their peers.
Eligibility:
- Individual who has not yet joined the workforce but demonstrates a strong commitment and contribution to cybersecurity.
